Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CES2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CES2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher CES2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CES2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
THYM, PRAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where CES2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
