Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CERT1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CERT1 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher CERT1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CERT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
CESC, COAD, and ACC are the cancer types where CERT1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
