Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CERS3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CERS3 data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher CERS3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CERS3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ACC, SARC, and COAD are the cancer types where CERS3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
