Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CEP295 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CEP295 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher CEP295 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CEP295 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
THYM, UCEC, and KIRP are the cancer types where CEP295 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
