Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CEP170B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CEP170B data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in testicular germ cell tumors (TGCT), where higher CEP170B Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CEP170B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and COAD show a favorable association.
TGCT, UCEC, and LUAD are the cancer types where CEP170B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
