Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CEP170B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CEP170B data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher CEP170B mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CEP170B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and PDAC show a favorable association.

LUAD, UCEC, and PDAC are the cancer types where CEP170B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
