Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CEP164 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CEP164 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher CEP164 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CEP164 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SKCM, UCEC, and LUSC are the cancer types where CEP164 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
