Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CEP126 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CEP126 data layer compared with 6 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher CEP126 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CEP126 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and PAAD show a favorable association.

LUSC, LIHC, and KIRP are the cancer types where CEP126 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
