Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CENPS RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CENPS data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher CENPS RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CENPS expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and KIRP show a favorable association.

UVM, KICH, and LIHC are the cancer types where CENPS RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
