Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CENPA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CENPA data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher CENPA Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CENPA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRP, LIHC, and HNSC are the cancer types where CENPA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
