Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CELA3A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CELA3A data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher CELA3A Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CELA3A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

LUAD, SKCM, and HNSC are the cancer types where CELA3A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
