Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CEACAM8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CEACAM8 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher CEACAM8 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CEACAM8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
OV, BLCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where CEACAM8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
