Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CDRT15P2 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of CDRT15P2’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where CDRT15P2 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types CDRT15P2 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as PRAD and KIRC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
PRAD, KIRC, and KIRP are the cancer types where CDRT15P2 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
