Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CDKN2D mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CDKN2D data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher CDKN2D mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CDKN2D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and PDAC show a favorable association.

GBM, LUAD, and LSCC are the cancer types where CDKN2D mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
