Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CDK9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CDK9 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher CDK9 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CDK9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LIHC, LAML, and UCEC are the cancer types where CDK9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
