Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CDK16 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CDK16 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher CDK16 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CDK16 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC and BLCA are the cancer types where CDK16 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
