Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CDH13 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CDH13 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher CDH13 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CDH13 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUAD show a favorable association.
KIRP, UCEC, and ESCA are the cancer types where CDH13 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
