Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CD9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CD9 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher CD9 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CD9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, KICH, and LUAD are the cancer types where CD9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
