Across TCGA patient cohorts, CD84 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 14,166 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CD84-associated genes across cancer lineages are TLR8, PTPRC, and CD53. Each is linked with CD84 in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CD84-to-partner and partner-to-CD84 results are reported.
