Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CD83 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CD83 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher CD83 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CD83 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SCLC, LIHC, and ACC are the cancer types where CD83 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
