Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CD79A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CD79A data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher CD79A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CD79A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
BLCA, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where CD79A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
