Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CD74 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CD74 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher CD74 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CD74 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
COAD, LAML, and STAD are the cancer types where CD74 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
