Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CD5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CD5 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher CD5 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CD5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KICH, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where CD5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
