Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CD47 RNA is linked to patient survival in 29 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CD47 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher CD47 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CD47 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and LUAD show a favorable association.
ACC, SKCM, and LUAD are the cancer types where CD47 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
