Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CD47 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CD47 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher CD47 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CD47 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and HNSC show a favorable association.

LSCC, LUAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where CD47 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
