Across TCGA patient cohorts, CD33 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 9,085 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CD33-associated genes across cancer lineages are MYO1F, CD14, and CMKLR1. Each is linked with CD33 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CD33-to-partner and partner-to-CD33 results are reported.
