Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CD300A RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CD300A data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher CD300A RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CD300A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and HNSC show a favorable association.
UVM, SKCM, and ACC are the cancer types where CD300A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
