Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCNE2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CCNE2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher CCNE2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCNE2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
HNSC, LIHC, and CESC are the cancer types where CCNE2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
