Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCDC9B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CCDC9B data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher CCDC9B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCDC9B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LUSC, SKCM, and PRAD are the cancer types where CCDC9B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
