Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCDC9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CCDC9 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher CCDC9 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCDC9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, SKCM, and LUAD are the cancer types where CCDC9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
