Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCDC82 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CCDC82 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher CCDC82 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCDC82 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and GBM show a favorable association.

HNSC, GBM, and CCRCC are the cancer types where CCDC82 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
