Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCDC80 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CCDC80 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 9 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher CCDC80 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCDC80 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CCRCC, PDAC, and LSCC are the cancer types where CCDC80 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
