Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCDC74A RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CCDC74A data layer compared with 9 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher CCDC74A RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCDC74A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and MESO show a favorable association.

UVM, BRCA, and KICH are the cancer types where CCDC74A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
