Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCDC6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CCDC6 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher CCDC6 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCDC6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
OV, SKCM, and THCA are the cancer types where CCDC6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
