Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCDC58 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CCDC58 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher CCDC58 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCDC58 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and UCEC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, HNSC, and PDAC are the cancer types where CCDC58 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
