Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCDC34 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CCDC34 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher CCDC34 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCDC34 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
CESC, GBM, and SARC are the cancer types where CCDC34 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
