Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCDC28B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CCDC28B data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher CCDC28B Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCDC28B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KICH, UCEC, and COAD are the cancer types where CCDC28B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
