Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCDC149 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CCDC149 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher CCDC149 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCDC149 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and UCEC show a favorable association.
CCRCC, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where CCDC149 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
