Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCDC144B RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CCDC144B data layer compared with 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher CCDC144B RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCDC144B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and ESCA show a favorable association.

UVM, UCEC, and KICH are the cancer types where CCDC144B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
