Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCDC13-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CCDC13-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher CCDC13-AS1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCDC13-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRP and MESO show a favorable association.

KIRP, KIRC, and KICH are the cancer types where CCDC13-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
