Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCDC12 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CCDC12 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher CCDC12 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCDC12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, BLCA, and COAD are the cancer types where CCDC12 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
