Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCDC117 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CCDC117 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher CCDC117 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCDC117 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, COAD, and SARC are the cancer types where CCDC117 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
