Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCDC116 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CCDC116 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher CCDC116 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCDC116 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and UCEC show a favorable association.
CESC, UCEC, and ACC are the cancer types where CCDC116 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
