Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CBY1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CBY1 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher CBY1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CBY1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and LUAD show a favorable association.

HNSC, LSCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where CBY1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
