Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CBX3P1 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 11 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of CBX3P1’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where CBX3P1 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types CBX3P1 is over-expressed in tumor.

STAD, HNSC, and COAD are the cancer types where CBX3P1 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
