Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CBX1P4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CBX1P4 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher CBX1P4 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CBX1P4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRP and HNSC show a favorable association.

KIRP, STAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where CBX1P4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
