Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CBWD5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CBWD5 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher CBWD5 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CBWD5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and SKCM show a favorable association.
ACC, BRCA, and ESCA are the cancer types where CBWD5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
