Across TCGA cell cohorts, CAV2 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 5,803 significant associations in total. BREAST shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CAV2-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Endocytosis involved in viral entry into host cell, Receptor-mediated endocytosis of virus by host cell, and Positive regulation of calcium ion transport into cytosol. Each is linked with CAV2 in more than 14 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CAV2-to-partner and partner-to-CAV2 results are reported.
