Across TCGA patient cohorts, CAV1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 44 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CAV1-associated genes across cancer lineages are 14-3-3_beta, eEF2, and eIF4G. Each is linked with CAV1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CAV1-to-partner and partner-to-CAV1 results are reported.
