Across TCGA cell cohorts, CAV1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 6,270 significant associations in total. BREAST shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CAV1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Positive regulation of gap junction assembly, Regulation of coagulation, and Endocytosis involved in viral entry into host cell. Each is linked with CAV1 in more than 16 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CAV1-to-partner and partner-to-CAV1 results are reported.
